Hey! Today I'm there with most unknown and fun facts about my proud country India. India is a beautiful and charming country with a diverse culture. There are so many festivals, states, different types of food and clothes etc. But there are some mysterious fact that will surely make you curious to research more on them!
1) Total number of births in India each year is almost equal to the population of Australia: Yes! As we know that the birth rate is high in India, every year the number of births in India is almost equal to the overall population of Australia. The number of births in India is 25 to 25.55 million whereas the population of Australia is 25.54 million. Whoa! So Amazing
2) The Kumbh Mela is visible from the space: The Kumbh Mela or a sacred and religious fair from India comes 4 times in the course of 12 years. There were so many Hindu attendees and attendees from other religion here in 2019, that it was visible from the space. Amazing Right?
3) India has the tallest statue in the world: The statue of Unity or the statue which was made in the honor of India's independence leader Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is the tallest ever statue in the world located in Gujarat. The height of this statue is 182 m.
4) Snakes and Ladders was invented In India: The game Snakes and Ladders was invented in Ancient India. Today in India we call it "Saap Sidhi" but it ancient India, it was called as Mokshapat.
5) The Magnetic Hill of Ladakh: We've surely listened about magnetic stationary and trains also! But have you ever seen magnetic hill? Do they exist? Don't worry, there is one. The magnetic hill at Leh, Ladakh is such a hill that attracts cars and other magnetic things if you go there. So Interesting!
6) The most successful Mughal Ruler "Akbar " cried on the death of his biggest enemy, Maharana Pratap: Akbar the greatest ruler of Mughal Dynasty, who became the king of India cried at the death of Rana Pratap. Rana Pratap never gave his territory Mewar to Akbar like other Rajput rulers and didn't want the flag of Mewar to be under the flag of Mughal. He lived in jungle for many years after he lost his capital Udaipur and he had to eat food made from grass. He then slowly occupied his other parts of Mewar and even Udaipur except Chittor( his first Capital) until his death in 1597. After hearing the news of Pratap's Death, Akbar cried a lot and even said that whenever the names of both of us will be taken, Pratap's name will be always taken above me.
7) The Largest Number of Vegetarians are here: With 29% to 40% of vegetarians are existing here. If you're a vegetarian, then you can rightly fit here.
8) First Rocket was transported by a bicycle: The first rocket in India was carried to Thiruvanthapuram in 1963 by a bicycle. The launching pad later came to be known as Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC).
9) India is world's largest milk producer: Milk gives us calcium, vitamin d and many other nutrients, but do we know that India is world's largest milk producer. Reaching over 155.5 million tonnes in 2015. Also the cows are said to be sacred in India.
10) It was the first country to produce sugar: After being the largest producer of milk, India is also the first country to produce sugar. It was first to make use of sugarcane.
